We are trying
something new this year, with hopes that it will bring the special
education community closer together and will be more convenient for
- First, we will be having our meetings at several of the schools, instead of holding all our meetings at one school.
- Second, in addition to our
meetings, the Brick Township School District will be holding their
SEPAC (Special Education Parents Advisory Committee Meetings) on the
same evenings and at the same locations immediately following our
meetings. This is an excellent opportunity for parents and teachers to
participate in both organizations and will enable everyone the
convenience of doing it in one evening. We will keep the time of both meetings to a maximum limit, allowing all to attend both meetings and leave at a reasonable hour.
with the anticipation of successful fundraisers, we would like to bring
back our annual Blue Claws event at the end of the school year.
PTA will have seven General Membership Meetings (dates listed above).
Two of these meetings will be SEPTA meetings only, and the others will
include SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Committee) meetings. Additional SEPAC
meetings may be held throughout the year and will be announced at a
later date. Stay tuned for Meeting Locations which will be posted here on our website. You can also download our Membership Application from our website as well.
past few years have not been easy for most of us, and it is because of
this that I urge you to support our PTA, as well as your home school
PTAs. For a minimal membership fee, your children will have the
opportunities to enjoy many of the programs and events sponsored by
these great organizations. We anticipate having a few fundraisers before the new year and more
events for the children in the spring. So, please join our wonderful
organization and help us to continue holding these events.
